Company History
After seeing battery operated blinking lights mounted on a saw horse being used to safely move traffic through a road construction project in California, P.D. Brooks, Sr. decided to bring the idea to Richmond. That was in 1962. Since then, P.D. Brooks Company has remained family owned and operated for 50 years. P.D. Brooks, Jr. was at the helm for numerous years and now Sarah Brooks is President. The company has gone from a simple rental business and has expanded to a turnkey operation offering assistance to the contractor with design, set up and execution of all types of road safety throughout Virginia.
